North 39 Energy is an approved education provider for the LEED for Homes Green Rater Workshop, which is the first step in the pathway to becoming a Green Rater.  Green Raters provide essential verification roles on all LEED for Homes projects.  The Workshop includes an online session prior to the course, an in-person training and a follow-up exam, which is individually scheduled at a local Prometric Testing Center.

Following successful completion of the Green Rater training and exam, a Green Rater in training has 24 months to complete a mentorship, along a knowledgeable professional.  Active Energies offers new Green Raters a mentorship component, alongside our seasoned staff.

For more information on the process and eligibility, check out USGBC's Guide to Certificationadditional details on training and eligibility requirements.
