North 39 Energy is an approved education provider for the LEED for Homes Green Rater Workshop, which is the first step in the pathway to becoming a Green Rater. Green Raters provide essential verification roles on all LEED for Homes projects. The Workshop includes an online session prior to the course, an in-person training and a follow-up exam, which is individually scheduled at a local Prometric Testing Center.
Following successful completion of the Green Rater training and exam, a Green Rater in training has 24 months to complete a mentorship, along a knowledgeable professional. Active Energies offers new Green Raters a mentorship component, alongside our seasoned staff.
For more information on the process and eligibility, check out USGBC's Guide to Certification, additional details on training and eligibility requirements.
Green Rater Certificate holders are required for each LEED for Homes project, providing on-site verification and direct communication with the project team.
Green Rater Certificate holders must work under a LEED for Homes Provider. North 39 is an active LEED for Homes Provider, working with existing and new Green Raters. Contact us today to learn about working with us as your Provider and training opportunities.
